Extended Digital Story Submission Deadline
2 In order to be eligible for “Extended Digital Story Submission Deadline” on February 24, 2012, participants need to complete the first step, Registration, by January 27, 2012 deadline.
Official Judging & Popular Voting
3 Judging for DISTCO 2012 projects will take place between March 1, 2012 and April 15, 2012.
Announcement of DISTCO 2012 Winners
4 Winners of the DISTCO 2012 will be announced through the official website on or after May 1, 2012.
***Registration includes signing up on the official website and filling out a required survey related to digital storytelling research. Digital Story submissions include sending a consent form and submitting at least one digital story to the official website.
THE STORY
STEP 1: Have an idea or a story to tell? Or you just want to teach or inform? Well, select a topic and write a short script.
STORYBOARDING
STEP 2: Do the storyboarding! Take your own pictures or find related images, sound clips, and music which will go with your story.
CREATING
STEP 3: Combine everything in a short video. Don’t forget to include “the gift of your own voice” in your Digital Story.
SHARING
STEP 4: And share it with the world. Find the director in you! Create your digital story today!
